The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Yoruba Youth Council (Oyo State Chapter) to promote youth empowerment and preserve Yoruba cultural heritage.

This pledge was made during a courtesy visit by stakeholders of the Yoruba Youth Council to the agency’s headquarters in Ibadan on Wednesday.

In his remarks, Prince Falana emphasized that the agency exists to serve all youths across Oyo State, adding that Governor Seyi Makinde remains a steadfast advocate for youth development and empowerment. “Governor Makinde is a father to all youths in Oyo State, and our priority is to uplift every young person under our care,” he stated.
Speaking on behalf of the Council, its Chairman, Oladimeji Ibrahim, commended Governor Makinde for his unwavering dedication to peace, inclusive governance, and infrastructural transformation across the state. He also praised Prince Falana, describing him as a true representation of the Omoluabi ethos—exemplifying integrity, leadership, and unity among Oyo youth.

Also in attendance were Mrs. Fakayode Abimbola (Vice Chairman, Oyo Central), Mr. Eruobodo Sodiq (Director of Empowerment), Mr. Ilori Joseph (Chief of Staff), and Mr. OCAT (Public Relations Officer).
The meeting signifies a renewed commitment to fostering youth development, preserving cultural identity, and deepening collaboration between government agencies and indigenous youth organizations in Oyo State.
