Ido LG Chairman Gives Omi Adio Iso-Agbe Traders Two Weeks to Relocate to Ultra-Modern Market

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has assured traders at the Omi Adio Iso-Agbe Market that application forms for shops at the newly constructed Omi-Tuntun Ultra-Modern Market remain available to all interested individuals.

Hon. Adeojo gave the assurance during a visit to the market aimed at addressing misconceptions surrounding the allocation process and informing traders of a two-week deadline to relocate to the new facility.

According to the chairman, the ultra-modern market was established to serve all market men and women in Omi Adio without discrimination, stressing that every trader has equal opportunity to secure a shop.

He clarified that while forms are available to traders from the Iso-Agbe Market, applications are strictly on an individual basis and not through groups or associations. He therefore directed interested traders to visit the Estate Office at the Omi-Tuntun Ultra-Modern Market Complex to obtain application forms and communicate their specific needs for necessary consideration.

“All heads are equal. Forms are still available for Iso-Agbe market men and women. Please note that forms are available for individuals, not groups. Interested traders should contact the Estate Office at the Omi Adio Ultra-Modern Market Complex to obtain forms and state their needs, which will be addressed by this administration,” Adeojo stated.

The chairman further urged traders to complete the application process and prepare to move into the new market within two weeks to ensure a smooth and orderly transition.

Speaking on behalf of the traders, the Babaloja of Iso-Agbe Market, Alhaji Waidi, commended the chairman for clearing the air on the issue and pledged the support and cooperation of the traders to both the Ido Local Government administration and the Oyo State Government.

“You came at the right time to stop the rumours. We are ready to relocate to the Ultra-Modern Market for our daily business activities. We appreciate this rare privilege and thank Governor Seyi Makinde and Pa Niyi Akintola (SAN) for their support,” he said.

Alhaji Waidi also offered prayers for the continued progress of Oyo State, Ido Local Government, and the Omi Adio Market community.
