Odidiomo/Atu forum offers prayer for Olajide's governorship ambition, PDP

Members of the Odidiomo/Atu Solidarity Forum, on Thursday organized a prayer session to seek the face of almighty Allah over the governorship ambition of the member representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest federal constituency, Hon Dhikrulahi Adedeji Olajide.

The prayer session held at the Late Abdul-Lateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide Central Mosque, Anfani, Ibadan was led by the Chief Imam of the mosque, Alfa Ganiyu Mohammed and attended by members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan Southwest local government area.

Apart from Olajide, prayers were also offered for the peaceful resolution of the issues that are troubling the PDP at the national level.

The state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, was also prayed for at the event, noting that God should continue to guide him as he continues to govern Oyo state.

Alfa Mohammed described the move made by the forum to confront the issues with prayer and noted that Almighty Allah was ready to answer the request of anyone that genuinely seek his face for help.

He however enjoined members of the group to make sure they have pure relationships with God as this would facilitate quick answers to their requests.

He also described Hon Olajide as a strong Muslim that doesn’t relate with people based on religion affiliation.

According to him, the lawmaker that is aspiring to be Oyo state governor in 2027 has contributed meaningfully to the development of his immediate community and the state at large.

Mohammed there prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the request of the forum and make Olajide emerge as the candidate of the PDP and go ahead to win the 2027 governorship election in the state.

Members of the forum were led to the prayer session by their chairman, Alhaji Teslim Olaide Oladejo and the chairman of the PDP, Ibadan Southwest local government, Alhaji Kunle Folarin among others.
