Apero Mekunu Marathon 2025: A Historic Beginning

The Apero Mekunu Marathon 2025, powered by Akeem Salawu, marked a historic and symbolic beginning for the movement, which many participants described as “more than a marathon.” To them, it was a bold celebration of unity, resilience, and liberty for all.

The event brought together runners, volunteers, and supporters who participated with high spirits, commending the marathon for being peaceful, violence-free, and well-coordinated.

Speaking after the race, the Apero Mekunu movement urged participants not to relent in their collective struggle for good governance, reinforcing the message: “This is our movement; we run for liberty.”
