Ibadan North House of Representatives Election: Sorting and Counting of Votes Commence

The House of Representatives election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency has officially ended, with voting brought to a close at 2:30 pm.

At several polling units across the constituency, sorting and counting of votes began immediately after the close of polls. Electoral officers opened the ballot boxes in the presence of voters, party agents, and observers, who remained on site to witness the process and ensure transparency.
Ballots are currently being sorted according to party lines, with invalid votes set aside and announced. Counting of the valid ballots will follow, after which results will be recorded on official forms, signed by party agents, and announced at the polling unit before onward transmission to the ward collation center.
The presence of party agents and voters at the polling stations underscores the commitment to an open and transparent electoral process in Ibadan North.
