2027: After Consultations, Hon. Hammed Taoreed Lucky Obtains PDP Form, Commends Ibadan North-East Stakeholders

Hon. Hammed Taoreed, a.k.a Lucky, a grassroots politician and former SA to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North-East LG, obtained the Peoples Democratic Party nomination form on Tuesday to contest the Ibadan North-East State Constituency 2 seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

Hon. Hammed said the decision followed thorough consultations with PDP executives, ward leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and community elders across Ibadan North-East Local Government Area.

“The feedback from our people was clear,” Hon. Hammed said. “They want representation that understands local challenges and connects them to opportunities at the state level. I am stepping forward to serve the entire constituency.”

He listed youth employment, support for small and medium enterprises, and closer engagement between elected officials and constituents as his priorities if elected.

Hon. Hammed commended the PDP leadership and party stakeholders for maintaining internal unity and ensuring a transparent process. He stressed that active ward and local government structures are essential for expanding citizen participation.

Party members in Ibadan North-East cited his consistent engagement with grassroots initiatives and urged the party to prioritize aspirants with a proven record of community service.
