Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Rep Aspirant, Dr. Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye, Distributes Rice, Promises Youth Empowerment and Education Support

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election, Dr. Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye, PhD, has distributed bags of rice to party members and constituents as part of her ongoing grassroots engagement and community support initiatives.

The distribution exercise attracted PDP members and supporters from across Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East Local Government Areas. Addressing attendees, Dr. Adekanmbi-Akinseye expressed appreciation for their steadfast loyalty and unwavering support for the party.

She reiterated her commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy through effective representation, noting that education, youth development, and economic empowerment would form the core of her legislative agenda if elected.

According to her, special attention would be given to educational support programmes, vocational and skills acquisition training for young people, as well as empowerment initiatives aimed at boosting the capacity of traders and small business owners.

“If elected, I will champion and support legislative initiatives that create employment opportunities for our youths, expand access to quality education, and strengthen vocational training programmes that equip our people with practical skills for economic self-reliance,” she stated.

Speaking after the event, the PDP Chairman in Ibadan North-East Local Government, Hon. Adeniran Osuntoyinbo, commended Dr. Adekanmbi-Akinseye for the gesture and her consistent commitment to the welfare of party members and constituents.

He described her as a credible and widely accepted candidate whose track record in public service demonstrates her readiness to provide purposeful representation.

“Her dedication to the party and genuine concern for the people are evident. Ibadan North-East/South-East deserves experienced and tested leadership capable of delivering meaningful development,” Osuntoyinbo said.

Also speaking, the PDP Financial Secretary in Oyo State, Hon. Adekunle Olatinwo, lauded Dr. Adekanmbi-Akinseye for sustaining regular engagement with grassroots members and for her contribution toward strengthening party unity.

He noted that her continued support for party members reflects her commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots development.

“She has consistently demonstrated that she values both the party and the people. Her actions show a clear commitment to service and community development,” Olatinwo added.
