Hon. Sheriff Adeojo Congratulates Gov. Makinde on Seven Years of Restoration, Transformation, and Repositioning of Oyo State

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, D.Sc, GSSRS, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of his administration.

Describing the period as one marked by “restoration, transformation, and repositioning,” Hon. Adeojo said Governor Makinde has demonstrated vision, commitment, and compassion in delivering what he called tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Oyo State.

He noted that the administration has recorded significant progress across key sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, and grassroots empowerment, which he said have positively impacted residents of Ido Local Government and the state at large.

According to him, these achievements reflect a consistent commitment to inclusive development, people-oriented governance, and prudent management of resources.

Hon. Adeojo expressed gratitude to God for blessing Oyo State with a leader dedicated to public service and commended Governor Makinde’s efforts in strengthening institutions, expanding opportunities, and restoring hope across communities in the state.

“As the people of Ido Local Government, we sincerely appreciate the dividends of democracy experienced under this administration,” he said.

He further prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for the governor as he continues to serve the state.

“We pray that Almighty God will continue to guide and strengthen Governor Makinde, granting him many more years of fruitful service to Oyo State and its people,” he added.
