Hijrah 1448AH: Oyo Youth Agency Extends Felicitations to Muslims

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, under the leadership of its Chairman, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State and beyond on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448AH.
In a goodwill message released on Tuesday by the Head of the Chairman’s Media Unit, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Hon. Falana described the Hijrah as a significant event in Islamic history that symbolizes faith, sacrifice, resilience, and steadfast commitment to noble ideals.
He urged young people to draw inspiration from the lessons of the historic migration of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), emphasizing the values of moral uprightness, peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and dedication to community development.
According to him, the commencement of a new Hijrah year presents an opportunity for reflection, renewal of purpose, and a recommitment to values that promote unity, progress, and societal advancement.

While congratulating Muslim faithful on witnessing the beginning of the year 1448AH, Hon. Falana prayed for divine guidance, abundant blessings, good health, peace, and prosperity for all residents of Oyo State.
The Chairman reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to youth empowerment and development initiatives aimed at nurturing responsible leadership and fostering sustainable growth among the younger generation.
He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, and rewarding Hijrah 1448AH celebration.
