Oyo PDP House of Assembly Aspirant Moses Alao resigns from PDP over alleged internal crisis

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oorelope Local Government Area of Oyo State and House of Assembly aspirant, Moses Adebayo Alao, has officially resigned from the party with immediate effect.

Alao, an indigene of Onilu Compound in Obaago, Igboho, disclosed his decision in a resignation letter addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ward 01 in Oorelope Local Government Area.

In the letter, he stated that further political decisions and actions would be communicated later, while reaffirming his unwavering loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde.

The former PDP member, identified as belonging to Unit 002, Ward 1, Oorelope Local Government, thanked the party for the opportunities and platform it had provided him over the years.

However, he explained that his resignation was prompted by the activities of certain “undemocratic elements” within the party, whom he accused of causing instability and making it difficult for him to continue pursuing his political ambition under the PDP platform.

According to Alao, the internal issues within the party had made his continued membership no longer feasible.
