PDP State Congress: Ido LG Chairman Adeojo Hails Makinde’s Leadership, Congratulates Akinsola on State Executive Role

Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government Area, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his exemplary leadership and the peaceful, well-organized conduct of the recently concluded People’s Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress in Oyo State.

Hon. Adeojo praised the governor for once again demonstrating his role as a stabilizing force and unifying leader within the party, noting that Governor Makinde’s consistent commitment to inclusive governance and party unity has continued to elevate the PDP across the state.

“The seamless conduct of the state congress is a reflection of Governor Makinde’s unwavering dedication to democratic principles and internal party harmony. His leadership remains a source of inspiration and cohesion for members at all levels,” Adeojo stated.

The Ido LG boss also extended his heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected and returning members of the PDP State Executive Council, applauding their emergence as a step toward reinforcing the party’s grassroots strength and electoral machinery.

In particular, Adeojo commended the appointment of Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola, former PDP Chairman in Ido Local Government, who has now been elected as the State Auditor of the party.

“Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola’s elevation to the state executive is a well-deserved recognition of his long-standing service, loyalty, and deep understanding of the party’s structure. I am confident he will bring immense value to the new team,” Adeojo said.

He emphasized that Akinsola’s vast experience in party administration will be instrumental in strengthening accountability and internal checks within the party’s financial system.

Looking ahead, Adeojo expressed optimism that the new PDP leadership in Oyo State will build on existing successes, foster deeper unity, and lead the party into future political contests with greater momentum.

“With a renewed and capable executive team in place, the PDP in Oyo State is positioned to consolidate its achievements and deliver even greater results in forthcoming elections,” he added.
