Ido LG Supervisory Councillors Back Adeojo for Ido/Ibarapa Federal Seat

In a strong demonstration of unity and political alignment, Supervisory Councillors in Ido Local Government Area have unanimously endorsed Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo as their preferred candidate for the House of Representatives seat representing the Ido/Ibarapa Federal Constituency.

The endorsement was announced at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Ido Local Government Secretariat, where the councillors expressed firm confidence in Adeojo’s leadership credentials, grassroots appeal, and track record in public service.

In a joint statement, the councillors described Adeojo as “a familiar and trusted figure among the people, with a proven history of delivering tangible results at the grassroots level.” They added, “His antecedents in politics reflect reliability, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the development of Ido and Ibarapa communities.”
The group commended Adeojo’s hands-on involvement in community development initiatives, citing achievements in infrastructure, youth empowerment, and local economic growth. They emphasized that his experience sets him apart as “a tested grassroots leader” capable of effectively attracting federal presence and resources to the constituency.

Calling for broad-based support, the councillors urged party leaders, members, and stakeholders across the constituency to unite behind his candidacy. “This is the time to support a proven performer who understands our needs and aspirations,” the statement read. “With collective effort, we can secure effective representation and sustainable development for Ido/Ibarapa at the National Assembly.”
Reacting to the endorsement, Hon. Adeojo expressed appreciation for the vote of confidence, pledging to uphold the trust placed in him. “I am deeply honoured by this endorsement,” he said. “I remain committed to serving our people with diligence, transparency, and a clear focus on advancing the interests of Ido/Ibarapa at the national level.”
