SLOOGA Inaugurates New Executive Members at Swearing-In Ceremony

The St. Louis Owo Old Girls’ Association (SLOOGA) inaugurates newly elected President and Executive Council members at a colourful oath-taking and swearing-in ceremony.

Speaking at the event, a member of the Board of Trustees of the association and Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Mrs Caroline Bukola Tenabe, described the occasion as a significant milestone in the history and evolution of SLOOGA.

Mrs Tenabe, a member of the second graduating set of St. Louis Owo, expressed gratitude to members of the association who travelled from far and near to witness what she termed an epoch-making event, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the association.

She paid glowing tribute to past leaders of SLOOGA, including the pioneer President, Mrs Margaret Omolara Adare, President Emeritus Mrs Oyeyemi Jimi-Salami, and the immediate past President, Mrs Philomena Ebunoluwa Malumi, commending them and their respective executives for their sacrifices and dedication in nurturing the association from its infancy to its present stature.
