Ido LG Mourns Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Adesina Adegbenga Israel

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Adesina Adegbenga Israel, who died a few days ago after a brief illness.

In a statement issued on behalf of political office holders, staff and the entire Ido Local Government community, the Chairman described the late councillor’s death as a painful and irreplaceable loss.

Hon. Adesina was commended for his unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the development of the local government, particularly in the health sector. His dedication to service and support for grassroots healthcare initiatives, the statement noted, will be fondly remembered.

“We take solace in the Lord because he came, he saw and he conquered. May God grant his family and the entire Ido Local Government family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the Chairman stated.

According to the family, the burial service holds today, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12 noon at Ojerinde Community, Zone C Blue House, Jiboye Bus Stop, along Omi Adio.
