Ido LG Collaborates With Youth of Africa Initiative, Empowers PLDS

Ido Local Government, joins the Youth of Africa Initiative, to create groundbreaking opportunities for youths in Ido by creating skills acquisition training program for persons living with disabilities.

The program held at Ido Secretariat aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s economy and to be self reliant.

This initiative is in collaboration with First City Monument Bank (FCMB), the program is intended to provide guidance on how to easily access grants and funding opportunities.

Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, Chairman of Ido Local Government, explains “this initiative is a step towards building a future where no one is left behind”,

He further, reflects on the government’s commitment to ensuring equal participation for persons with disabilities in the community’s growth and development.
