Ido LG Chairman Inspects Lamini Village Road, Pledges Immediate Intervention

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, on Thursday conducted an inspection of the ongoing community road project in Lamini Village, Ward 2. During the visit, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to grassroots development and promised swift support to ensure the project’s timely completion.

Addressing community members at the site, Hon. Adeojo emphasized that the welfare of the citizenry remains the central priority of his government. He noted that the inspection was necessary to assess the progress of the work and identify areas requiring local government intervention.

“The well-being of our people is paramount,” the Chairman stated. “This administration is dedicated to ensuring that every community feels the impact of governance through improved infrastructure.”

To facilitate immediate action, Hon. Adeojo directed community leaders to submit a formal request letter to the Local Government Secretariat, detailing the technical requirements for the project.

In his response, the Community Chairman of Lamini Village, Mr. Abass Ariyo, commended the LG boss for his responsiveness and “people-centered” leadership style.

“We are deeply grateful for this visit,” Mr. Ariyo said. “We called on you to see our challenges, and you responded promptly. This reinforces our confidence that you are indeed a man of the people.”

Mr. Ariyo further outlined the community’s critical needs, which include the construction of a box culvert, proper drainage systems, and road grading. He assured the Chairman that a formal document outlining these requirements would be forwarded to the council secretariat for urgent processing.
