Hon. Sheriff Adeojo Flags Off Mass Road Rehabilitation in Ido LG

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has flagged off a mass road rehabilitation and grading exercise across the 10 wards of the council area, in a renewed push to improve infrastructure and living standards for residents.

The exercise commenced on Tuesday at Balogun Toriola community in Ward 4, marking the beginning of what the council described as a comprehensive intervention that will extend to all wards within the local government.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Adeojo assured residents that no ward would be left out of the initiative. He noted that the rehabilitation project is designed to ease transportation challenges, improve access to remote communities, and stimulate local economic activities, particularly farming and trading.
According to him, the improved road network will not only enhance mobility but also create a more enabling environment for socio-economic growth across the council area.

Chairman of Balogun Toriola community, Alhaji Kamiludeen Moshood, commended the council boss for what he described as a timely and impactful intervention. He said the community had long grappled with poor road access and expressed appreciation for the administration’s responsiveness to the people’s needs.
He offered prayers for the chairman, asking for continued guidance and protection as he leads the council.
