Governor Makinde’s Ally, Alake Iya Pedro, Gets Birthday Shout-Out from Oyo Youth Agency

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development has celebrated Mrs. Ishola Iyabode Olajumoke, popularly known as Alake Iya Pedro, on the occasion of her birthday, commending her for her outstanding contributions to youth empowerment and grassroots development across the state.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Head of Media to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, the Chairman, Prince Adebowale, described Alake Iya Pedro as “a beacon of hope and a tireless advocate for the youth, whose courage and commitment have inspired a new generation of young leaders in Oyo State.”

Prince Falana, in his goodwill message, lauded Mrs. Pedro’s dedication to social development and her consistent promotion of good governance through constructive engagement. He further praised her strong support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s developmental agenda and women-led initiatives across the state.

“Alake Iya Pedro has consistently demonstrated compassion, dignity, and purpose in her service to humanity. Her leadership has positively impacted many lives and influenced youth-centered policies,” Prince Adebowale said.

He added, “Your voice is powerful, your loyalty is unmatched, and your resilience continues to inspire many. You have shown that truth and integrity always rise above noise and distraction.”

The statement further described the celebrant as a woman with a large heart, ever willing to help others, bring joy to those around her, and make a lasting difference wherever she goes.
