Falana Greets Muslims on Maulud Nabiyy, Urges Youth to Follow Prophet’s Example

The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended his congratulations to Muslims in the state and beyond on the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy, the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement released on Friday, Falana described the celebration as a moment for Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s life and teachings. He urged them to embody the Prophet’s message of peace, compassion, humility, and unity.
“Maulud Nabiyy isn’t just a celebration; it’s a reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary character and unwavering commitment to justice and righteousness,” Falana said. He encouraged all Muslims to use this time to pray for peace and progress in Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole.
Falana specifically called on the youth to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s leadership and moral compass, stressing the importance of discipline, integrity, and community service in building the nation.
He also reaffirmed the Oyo State government’s dedication to promoting religious harmony and youth development, highlighting that Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration is committed to inclusivity and empowerment for all.
