Falana, Congratulates Oba Ladoja on Historic Coronation as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland

The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I, on his official coronation today as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement issued through the Head of Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, Hon. Adebowale described the coronation as “historic and spiritually significant,” marking a new era in the rich history of Ibadanland.

He noted that Oba Ladoja’s ascension is not only a moment of pride for the people of Ibadan but for Yoruba sons and daughters across the world, describing it as “a reflection of divine grace and a reward for a lifetime of selfless service.”

Falana commended Governor ’Seyi Makinde for his approval and support of the new Olubadan, saying the confirmation of Oba Ladoja’s kingship by the governor represents “a bold step towards preserving tradition and fostering the continued progress of Ibadanland.”

“Oba Ladoja’s coronation is more than a traditional rite; it is the crowning of wisdom, resilience, and an unshakable commitment to the growth of Ibadanland,” he said.

Highlighting Oba Ladoja’s legacy of good governance and public service, the Youth Development Chairman praised him as “a royal father whose reign will bridge generations and champion inclusive development.”

“The youth of Oyo State see in him a royal father who embodies integrity, vision, and the courage to lead with compassion,” Adebowale added.

Expressing optimism about the monarch’s reign, Falana stated that Oba Ladoja will be an inspiration to the youth, promoting education, cultural values, and civic responsibility.

“As Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, I am confident that the voices and dreams of young people will continue to be heard and empowered under the reign of Oba Ladoja,” he said.

The grand coronation ceremony, holding today in Ibadan, is being graced by dignitaries from across Nigeria, including traditional rulers, political leaders, and well-wishers from various walks of life.
