Apero Mekunu Engages Food Sellers in Oyo Town, Fosters Unity and Collective Action

A grassroots group, Apero Mekunu, recently held an interactive meeting with food vendors and caterers in Oyo Town, at I Yaji Layout, beside Fasola/Soku Garage, opposite Total Filling Station, Sanga.

The lively gathering brought together hardworking men and women who make their living through catering and related small-scale businesses. Participants shared experiences, discussed everyday challenges, and explored practical ways to drive positive change within their community.

The meeting, described by attendees as both educational and inspiring, created an open forum where ideas flowed freely and everyone’s voice was respected. Discussions centred on the importance of unity, cooperation, and building a fairer, more supportive environment for all.
By the end of the session, participants expressed renewed hope and determination to work together in pursuit of justice and equity. The event closed with a strong sense of solidarity and commitment to collective progress — a testament to Apero Mekunu’s ongoing effort to empower local communities and ensure that every voice counts.
