Adeojo Inaugurates New Supervisor Councillor, Special Assistant in Ido LG

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, has administered the oath of office to Mrs. Mariam Ishola as Supervisor Councillor for Ward 8 and Mr. Emiola Abdulramoh as Special Assistant to the Local Government from Ward 10.

The ceremony, held at the Ido Local Government Secretariat, underscored the council’s commitment to strengthening grassroots administration and improving service delivery across the area.

Addressing the appointees shortly after their inauguration, Hon. Adeojo congratulated them and urged them to justify the confidence placed in them through dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the development of the local government. He stressed the need for teamwork, transparency, and people-focused leadership as essential ingredients for meaningful progress.
The chairman also lauded the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for what he described as exemplary leadership and sustained commitment to transparency, accountability, and development across the state. According to him, the governor’s support has continued to empower local governments to function more effectively at the grassroots.

Hon. Adeojo further commended party faithful for their steadfast loyalty and support, describing them as the driving force behind the party’s achievements within the council area.
In separate remarks, Mrs. Ishola and Mr. Abdulramoh expressed gratitude to the chairman and party leadership for the opportunity to serve. They pledged to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and in the best interest of the people.

The event drew party leaders, stakeholders, council officials, and supporters who gathered to witness the swearing-in ceremony.
