In a bid to bolster agricultural activities and enhance food security, a significant distribution of essential agricultural inputs was recently carried out in Ido by the state Government through the Chairman, Honourable Sheriff Adeojo, A total of 190 bags of maize, 190 bags of fertilizer, 31 cartons of herbicides, and 8 pieces of herbicides were distributed to numerous farmers in the community. This initiative aims to support local farmers in achieving better yields and sustainable farming practices.

The distribution of these agricultural inputs Adeojo explained signifies a crucial step towards improving the agricultural sector in Ido Local Government Area. Maize being a staple food crop among many, the provision of 190 bags of maize seeds will enable farmers to expand their cultivation areas and boost production. Additionally, the distribution of 190 bags of fertilizer will help in enhancing soil fertility, thereby increasing crop productivity.
