Adeojo Donates Support to Muslim Community, Donates ₦1m To Apete, Awotan, Ayegun

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has donated the sum of ₦1 million to the Muslim Community of Apete, Awotan, Ayegun and adjoining areas following the presentation of a “Defender of Rights” award in recognition of his contributions to the growth and development of the Muslim community.

The award was presented during the community’s Ramadan lecture held at the Islamic Centre located behind Apete Motor Garage.

Chairman of the occasion, Professor Musibau Titiloye of the University of Ibadan, led the presentation alongside the Chairman of the Muslim Community of Apete, Awotan, Ayegun and Environs, Alhaji Basheer Omotosho.
Speaking during the presentation, community leaders commended Adeojo for his commitment to the advancement of the Muslim community and his proactive leadership, describing him as an inspiration whose efforts have positively impacted the region.

Responding, Adeojo expressed appreciation to the community for the recognition, noting that he was deeply honoured by the award. He commended members of the community for their dedication to the propagation of Islam and for promoting unity.
The council chairman also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting community development initiatives, stating that the donation was made in honour of his late father, Alhaji Chief Dr. Yekini Ayode Adeojo.

According to him, the contribution is intended to support the ongoing Islamic Centre project and further strengthen community development efforts in the area.
Adeojo was accompanied to the event by several local government officials, including the Local Government Secretary, Alhaji Kamorudeen Gbadamosi; Chief of Staff, Hon. AbdulAzeez Yahya; Supervisor for Information, Hon. Olubukola Folorunso; Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaji Sarafadeen Aminu; Director of Finance and Supplies, Mr. Adedeji Gbadebo; and the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Kamil Raji, among others.
