Breaking: Oyo Agency for Youth Unveils Fola Homecoming Concert C’ttee, Names Kunle Odugbesan Chairman

Preparations have intensified for the much-anticipated Fola Homecoming Concert as the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development (AYD) has unveiled the committee saddled with coordinating the star-studded homecoming celebration for Ibadan-born music sensation, Fola.

The Agency named Kunle Odugbesan, the State chairman of entertainment stakeholders in Oyo State, as Chairman of the Fola Homecoming Concert Planning Committee, alongside other members appointed to help stage the event successfully.

The concert, organised in partnership with the Oyo State Government and coordinated by the Agency for Youth Development, is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Accepting his appointment as Chairman of the committee, Odugbesan expressed his readiness to take on the responsibility, signalling his commitment to working with other members of the committee and relevant stakeholders to deliver a memorable homecoming celebration.

The appointment places Odugbesan at the centre of preparations for an event expected to bring together music lovers, young creatives, entertainment stakeholders and fans of Fola for a celebration of the artist’s connection with his hometown.

The Fola Homecoming Concert is also expected to provide a platform for celebrating youth creativity and the growing influence of Ibadan-born talents in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
