Ibadan South West stakeholders back Atu's chairmanship bid

As the preparation for primary election towards the local government poll in Oyo State approaches, stakeholders in Ibadan South West local government areas have backed the candidacy of the Political Head Ibadan West Local Council Development Authorities (LCDA), Alhaji Tajudeen Adigun, popularly known as ATU as the next chairman of the local government.
The stakeholders, comprising women, youths and leaders across party lines, said Adigun has the experience and capacity to occupy the office if given the opportunity.
The cross section of the people believed the chairmanship of Ibadan South West should not be left in the hands of people that lack administrative knowhow for development.
They maintained that the records of Adigun in the last six years as the political head of Ibadan West LCDA were pointers to the fact that he has what it takes to become the chairman of the local government.

According to them, Adigun had implemented programmes that have touched the lives of the people at the grassroots.
To the people, experience, capacity and capability matter when choosing leaders at any level, particularly the local government.
