Hon Adeojo Honoured with Excellence Award for Advancing Student Sports and Education in Ido LG

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has been recognized with an Award of Excellence for his consistent support toward the development of student sports and quality education.
The honour was conferred by St. John Secondary School Omi-Onigbagbo in appreciation of his dedication to empowering students within the school and across other pre-tertiary institutions in the local government area.
The award was formally presented by Adelolu Kayode on behalf of the school’s Principal, Folashade Olajumoke Felix, during a brief ceremony held at the Chairman’s office. In her remarks, Mrs. Felix praised Hon. Adeojo for his proactive role in promoting sporting activities and his responsiveness to the needs of students. She noted that his efforts have significantly contributed to nurturing both the talents and overall well-being of young learners.
In his response, Hon. Adeojo dedicated the award to all students within Ido Local Government and across Oyo State. He also used the opportunity to welcome them to the final term of the 2025/2026 academic session, offering prayers for their success and academic excellence.

Reaffirming his commitment, the Chairman pledged to continue investing in the educational and extracurricular growth of students, describing them as the future leaders of the community.
The presentation ceremony was attended by key government officials and stakeholders, including the Local Government Secretary, Kamorudeen Gbadamosi; the Head of Local Government Administration, Sarafadeen Aminu; and Bamigbade Samson of St. John Secondary School, among others.
