Christmas: AYD Hails Oyo Youths, Urges Unity, Innovation and Hope

The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development (AYD), under the leadership of Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm Christmas greetings to youths across the state, calling on them to uphold the values of love, unity, and renewed hope symbolised by the season.

In a goodwill message released on Thursday, the Agency described Christmas as a time for reflection and thanksgiving, while applauding Oyo youths for their resilience, creativity, and positive contributions to the state’s growth and development despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.

Hon. Falana commended the youths for their sustained involvement in productive ventures, innovation, and community development, noting that their energy and commitment remain critical to Oyo State’s continuous progress.

According to him, the youth-friendly policies of Governor Seyi Makinde have significantly transformed creativity and innovation among young people into tangible economic growth for the state, creating a more enabling environment for youth advancement.

The Agency reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to youth empowerment through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship development, and inclusive policies designed to create sustainable opportunities for young people across all zones of Oyo State.

While wishing youths a peaceful and joyful Christmas celebration, AYD urged them to remain law-abiding, hopeful, and steadfast in their commitment to building a better future for themselves and the state.

The Agency also expressed optimism that the coming year would usher in greater opportunities, stronger partnerships, and expanded youth-focused programmes aimed at further enhancing the welfare and aspirations of Oyo youths.
