ADACO Backs Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka: Adesua Steps Down to Unite Forces for Ekiti’s Rebirth

In a major political development ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State, the Ayodele David-Adesua Coalition (ADACO) has officially announced its full support for the candidacy of Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka, following the voluntary withdrawal of its leader, Apostle Ayodele David Adesua, from the race.

According to a statement released by the coalition, the decision came after extensive consultations with key stakeholders and was driven by a shared desire to preserve party unity and strengthen internal cohesion at this crucial time.

Describing Apostle Adesua’s decision as a “gesture of true statesmanship,” the statement noted that his action underscores his unwavering commitment to the stability, progress, and collective success of the party.
“At a time when the party must present a common and formidable front, this alignment reinforces our resolve to foster internal harmony and enhance our chances of victory in the forthcoming contest,” the statement read in part.
The coalition further directed all its members, supporters, and structures across the 177 wards of Ekiti State to immediately rally behind Prof. Eleka, ensuring that every effort and ballot contributes decisively to his success at the polls.
Dr. Ayodele Ayokunle, Director General of ADACO, commended members for their steadfast loyalty and emphasized that the coalition remains devoted to the shared vision to Rescue, Rebuild, and Rise Ekiti.
