Oyo NSCDC Commandant Lauds Gov. Makinde, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for Security Efforts

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Oyo State, Commandant Augustine Padonu, has lauded the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, for his dedication to promoting security and development in the council. He described him as a vibrant youth who is committed to bringing positive change to his people.

During a familiarization visit to Ido Local Government, Commandant Padonu commended Governor Seyi Makinde for giving youths like Hon. Adeojo the opportunity to lead. He expressed gratitude for the Chairman’s support for NSCDC officers’ welfare and facilities within the local government.

The Commandant reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to community-based security and cultural respect, promising enhanced security coverage in Ido Local Government. He sought continued support from Hon. Adeojo’s administration.
In response, Hon. Adeojo welcomed the Commandant and his team, highlighting the local government’s efforts in combating insecurity, following Governor Makinde’s legacy. He praised NSCDC officers for their proactiveness and cooperation with other security agencies.

The Chairman pledged to support NSCDC in Ido Local Government, promising to expand its presence in the area. He urged the NSCDC officers to continue efforts to combat insecurity in all parts of Ido local government
