Akeem Salawu Urges Citizens to Embrace Hope, Unity, and Purpose in November Message

As the month of November begins, political leader and advocate of grassroots development, Akeem Salawu (Ilana Mekunu), has called on citizens to renew their hope, courage, and commitment to positive change in his monthly goodwill message.

Salawu described November as a season of clarity and conviction, urging Nigerians to look beyond present challenges and recognize the power they hold through their choices, especially at the ballot.

“The future we desire will not come by chance; it will come by choice — the choices we make at the ballot, guided by conscience, not by fear or favour,” he said.

He emphasized that genuine change is achieved through purposeful participation rather than rhetoric, noting that the strength of the people lies in unity, integrity, and the collective will to build a fair and prosperous society.

Salawu further encouraged citizens to prepare their minds for what he termed a “peaceful ballot revolution”, aimed at restoring dignity, fairness, and opportunity for all.

Concluding his message, he wished Nigerians a productive and hopeful new month, saying:

“May November bring wisdom to choose right, strength to stand firm, and faith to keep believing in a better tomorrow. Together, we build the future — one ballot at a time.”
