The Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, extends congratulatory message to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde and his wife, Engineer (Mrs.) Tamunominini Makinde, as they have been conferred chieftaincy titles of Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom, respectively.
The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, deemed it right to bestow the this title to the Governor and his wife for their exceptional leadership to the people of Oyo state.
Honourable FALANA believes that Governor Makinde is a symbol of selfless governance, that has always prioritize youth in governance while Her Excellency, the First Lady, Tamunominini has always inspired women and prioritized children’s welfare. “
Adebowale, is of the notion that this title is long overdue, he further emphasized the importance of such traditional titles as a bridge to culture particularly to the Yoruba tradition.
He emphasized the need for youths to see Governor Seyi Makinde as a role model and emulate his good deeds.
He further stated that Governor Seyi Makinde being the Aare and his wife, the First Lady the Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure, now have more responsibilities. He then congratulated them.
