Governor Makinde was honoured with the title of Aare Omoluwabi of Akure Land, while his wife was bestowed with the title of Yeye Aare Omoluwabi of Akure Land during a grand installation ceremony that drew dignitaries and traditional rulers from across the region.
Describing the honour as well-deserved, Hon. Adeojo praised Governor Makinde for his leadership style which does not relegate culture in but supports tradition and Yoruba values and leadership.
